Taught by Master Gun Stock Carver JOSE VALENCIA – Using the High Speed Drill
I have classes available where you can come and learn to carve using the High Speed Drill.
You will receive personal attention as the classes are limited to 4 students only.
You get to learn in three days how to carve leaves, feathers, basket weave pattern, and the fishscale pattern.
I will also show you how and where to get patterns that you can carve.
The classes times are from 9 am to 5 pm. Thursday thru Saturday.
Cost
$750 (includes beverages & lunches)
I can also provide transportation to and from your hotel if needed. Call me if you need me to recommend hotels in the area.
Advanced carving classes are also available on the following:
Scrolls, wildlife, turquoise inlays, cast ivory inlays, drop relief carvings, full relief carvings, names and brands.
The cost for these classes are $250/day. (some classes are two days, others are four days).
If you already have a High Speed drill, please bring it to class, along with your burs. If you do not have one, I can provide a drill for you free of charge, but you will need to buy your own set of burs to use in the class.
A set of twelve burs is $42 and I have them available at the class.
I can also show you where to get your own complete carving system at a discount.
